Earl Gaylord Bedell GENEVA- Earl Gaylord Bedell, 91, passed away on Wed. (Sept. 27, 2017), at Geneva General Hospital. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Mon. (Oct. 2), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will be at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be at 1 p.m. in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo. Contributions may be directed to Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St. Waterloo, NY 13165. Earl was born on March 19, 1926, in Geneva and was a son of the late Frank "Pete" Bedell and Margaret Lathrop. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII and was a tank driver in the Battle of the Bulge. Earl worked at Patent Cereal in Geneva, then at Lauhoff Grain in Ill., and retired from the Seneca Army Depot on June 30, 1989. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and V.F.W. in Geneva. Earl enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycles, NASCAR and WWE Wrestling. He is survived by his daughters, Kathryn A. (John) Wojciechowski of Geneva and Karol L. (Joseph) Salemi of Geneva; life-long partner, Gladys McNaney of Waterloo; siblings, Charles (Ada) Bedell of Calif., Beverly Akiki of GA, Johnny (Gloria) Bedell of GA and David (Kathleen) Bedell of PA; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Earl was predeceased by his brothers, Richard and Robert Bedell.
