Obituary of Chuck Gregory Michaels

WATERLOO/GENEVA- Charles "Chuck" Gregory Michaels, 65, passed away peacefully on Thurs. (Jan. 12, 2023), at Strong Memorial Hospital. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thurs. (Jan. 19), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Chuck was born on Feb. 20, 1957, in Geneva, NY and was a son of the late Scorch and Mariam (Spott) Michaels. He was a graduate of Geneva High School, where he played baseball and lacrosse. Chuck received his Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Brockport. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a devoted father and grandfather. Chuck will always be remembered as a giving person, with a great sense of humor and fun stories. He is survived by his wife, Liz Michaels; children, Sarah and Adam Michaels, Christine Gravitte Bayless, Stephen, David and Gregory Gravitte, Ashley Gravitte Pitts, Joseph and Anthony Gravitte; siblings, Julie Howard, Eve Moses, Thomas and Abbey Michaels; 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Chuck was predeceased by his daughter, Catherine Michaels.
