Obituary of Leo F. Manino

Leo F. Manino, Jr. GENEVA- Leo F. Manino, Jr., 87, passed away peacefully on Mon. (Oct. 7, 2013), at Geneva General Hospital, with his family by his side. A private memorial service for family will be held at 11 a.m. Fri. (Oct. 11), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. Friends are invited to meet the family at the Geneva V.F.W. at 12:30 p.m. Leo was born on Jan. 9, 1926, in Geneva and was the son of Leo F. and Mary (Marciano) Manino. He worked at the Geneva Foundry for over 30 years. After retirement, Leo served as bartender at the Geneva V.F.W. He was a member of the Nester Hose Fire Department, Knights of Columbus, V.F.W. Men's Auxiliary, Geneva Moose Lodge, and the National Guard for over 30 years. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia (Chuck Smith) Manino of Geneva; son, James (Brenda Holley) Manino of NC; brother, Alfred (Sylvia) Manino of Seneca Falls; sister, Dorothy Manino of Geneva; 2 grandsons, Timothy (Shannon) Thibault and Jeffrey Thibault; great-granddaughters, Kacey, Molly and Katie Thibault; special great-grandpuppy, Harley, whom he took for a ride to Dunkin' Donuts almost daily; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. Leo was predeceased by his daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Tim Thibault; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kay and Smoky Mariangelo, Bumbie and Jerry Campbell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Mary Manino, Tony and Ursula Manino, chickie and Sarah Manino. .
