Dear Mrs. Kennedy and Family,
We were neighbors in Seneca Falls in the 1990s with James and became close friends as our children grew up with Rapheal, Kaja and Lydia.
We were saddened to hear that this wonderful man's life was cut short. With that being sad, he was always a man of principle, always there to help others and just a blessing to have known. We lost track of each other over the last five years and recently saw each other at Nice N Easy in Seneca Falls. We hugged each other like no time had passed and I felt truly blessed that our paths crossed one last time.
He was a person that entered and exited my life at a time that knowing him lifted my spirits. We were all blessed to have had James in our lives. I will never forget that smile and it is deep in my heart.
With deepest sympathy,
Kevin Bunce and family

I am sad to hear of James passing. He was always so charming and friendly. I recall that he once agreed to play the part of Frederick Douglas during the Seneca Community players presentation of the First Woman's Rights Convention during Convention Days. Condolences to all friends and family.

James was a dear friend to myself and my husband Marc. His smile and laughter made him stand out amongst all others. Our friendship dates back to him meeting my friend and his wife Christine. Many happy memories will live on forever. He was the kind of person that would always be there to lend a hand, give advise, or just BE there. You will truly be missed James. God bless.

My companion, Bob Hendley, and I were blessed to see James at our 30th reunion last year. He was one of many I hoped to see. I am so glad we were able to talk one on one for a while. He will always be in my heart as one of the good guys - never judgemental, and always laid back and smiling.

James is a super nice man. His business is unique in that his skill as a tree climber is fast becoming a lost art. My heart goes out to his family during this sad time.

James was a wonderful man! I am so shocked and saddened to hear of his death. James had removed many trees for me this past summer, we had great plans for more trees in the future. James was always kind to me, he had a big heart and a great smile. My deepest sympathy to his friends and family, he truly will be missed.

I am so sorry for the loss of St. James. He was a wonderful person and indeed a beautiful smile. He recently cut down two trees for us and was scheduled to come back. Just so sad. My heart goes out to all of you. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
