Obituary of Richard F. Davis

Richard Davis GENEVA- Richard Davis, 68, of Geneva, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wed. (March 26, 2014), at the Geneva General Hospital. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Mon. (March 31), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A service will be held at 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Contributions may be directed to the Ontario County Humane Society 2976 County Road 48 Canandaigua, NY 14424. Richard was born on February 09, 1946 and raised in Geneva, NY. He also lived in Seneca Falls, NY & Balch Springs Texas but he always returned to his birth place. It seems one could take the man out of Geneva but you just couldn't take the Geneva out of the man. His heart always belonged to Geneva, NY. Richard took honor in serving his country as a member of the United States National Guard. He was a graduate of the Geneva High School. Richard had a highly regarded career. He worked at Sylvania for 10 years, the American Can Co. in Geneva for several years, and also as the Head of Receiving at H P Nuen in Geneva, NY. Richard always made time for his hobbies which included family time, fishing, gardening, hunting, and watching TV. Richard loved his family dearly. He is survived by two adoring daughters, Ashley Petersen (Brian) of Penn Yan, NY, Crystal Davis of Mass. Three loving sons, Robert Davis of Penn Yan, NY, Sean Davis (Donna) of Kansas, Jason Davis of Geneva, NY. Eight cherished grandchildren, Stefon, Zachary, Mason, Corina, Ayva, Ashley, Tabby, Sierra. One Great Grandson, Jaydan. Two caring sisters, Susan Powers (Stewart) of Geneva, NY, Mary Kay Laduew of Geneva, NY. Two nieces, Michelle Shoots (Christopher), Kylie Scott. Four nephews, Maurice French III of Geneva, NY, Joseph French of Florida, Desmond Piergrosso of Geneva, NY, a very special nephew who was near and dear to his heart Steven French of Geneva, NY, and many great nieces and nephews; A really good friend, Debi Stuart. Richard was predeceased by his Grand Parents, Paul and Josephine Piergrosso, Fred and Stella Atkinson, his Parents, Joseph and Mary Piergrosso. Also several Aunts and Uncles. Richard was a very loved man and he will be greatly missed by all.
