Obituary of Angelina Liberatore

Angelina S. Liberatore GENEVA- Angelina S. Liberatore, 89, passed away peacefully on Thurs. (April 24, 2014), at Geneva General Hospital, with her loving family by her side. In honoring her wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Our Lady of Peace Parish, 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY 14456. Angelina was born on July 17, 1924, in Rochester and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Venuti) Saglimbeni. She graduated from DeSales High School and was a member of the first graduating class at the Freeman Business School. Angelina worked for many years as a telephone operator for NY Telephone in Geneva. She was devoted to the Virgin Mary and was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. She is survived by her son, Carmen Liberatore of Geneva; daughters, Lorraine (Michael) Maney of Geneva and Angela (Paul) Francisco of Victor; brother, Louis Saglimbeni of Geneva; sisters, Louise Davoli of Geneva and Tina (Nicholas) Cocola of Geneva; grandchildren, Timothy (Johanna) Maney, Kevin (Melissa) Maney, Paul (Melissa) Maney and Natalie (Paul Hammond) Vogt; great-grandchildren, Madeline, Raymond, Max, Michael, Clara Jane, Eileen, Mary Connor, Alex, Charles, Van and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Angelina was predeceased by her husband, Raymond J. Liberatore; sisters, Jaye (Joseph) Zappia and Mary Lisi; sister-in-law, Eleanor Saglimbeni; brother-in-law Joseph Davoli and nephew, Joseph Davoli.
