GENEVA- Clara C. DerCola, 88, passed away peacefully on Thurs. (June 12, 2014), at the Geneva Living Center North, with her loving family by her side. In honoring her wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tues. (June 17), in St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Geneva. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum. Contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association 435 E. Henrietta Rd. Rochester, NY 14620, ATTN: Development Office. Clara was born on Sept. 18, 1925, in Geneva, NY and was a daughter of the late Jerry and Clara (Eppilitto) DiRaddo. She graduated from Geneva High School in 1944. Clara owned and operated Clara's Beauty Salon in Geneva for over 50 years. She was a member of the V.F.W Ladies Auxiliary and St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Geneva. Clara loved to crochet and sew. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Jim) Waugh of Geneva, Claire (Scott) Smith of Ariz., and Jamie (John) Natti of Perinton; sister, Genevieve Jacobs of Rochester; grandchildren, Stacy Waugh Bills, James Waugh, Darlene Hibbs, Jessica Smith, Pamela Wilkinson, Todd Natti and Lauren Natti; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Sam Scibona; sister-in-law, Jeanette DiRaddo. Clara was predeceased by her husband, James T. DerCola; brother, Mike DiRaddo and sister, Kay Scibona.
