GENEVA-Mary Elizabeth Hickey, 50, passed away unexpectedly with her family at her side on Sat. (July 12, 2014). Friends may call from 4 pm to 7 pm Tues. (July 15), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva, NY 14456. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Wed. (July 16) at St. Frances de Sales Church. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery.
Contributions may be made in Mary's memory to Beverly Animal Shelter or American Diabetes Association.
Mary was born April 17, 1964 in Geneva, NY and was the daughter of Eudora (Bruzda) and Ned Hickey. She graduated from Geneva High School in 1982 and Mohawk Valley Community College in 1984. Mary loved gardening and shopping.
She is survived by her parents Eudora and Ned Hickey of Geneva; siblings Danny (Leslie) Hickey of Geneva, Debbie (Mike) Vistocco of Victor and Edmund (Christine) Hickey of NC; nieces and nephews Angela and David Vistocco, Daniel Hickey, Emily, Sarah and Mia Hickey; aunts Nancy Bruzda of Geneva, Rosemary Burns and Mary Hickey both of Troy, NY; the love of her life Dirk Malavase of Bloomfield; several cousins and many dear friends. Mary will be sadly missed be all.
