GENEVA- Jean Marie Paradise, 71, passed away peacefully on Thurs. (July 24, 2014), at home. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. today, Sun. (July 27), at the Grace Episcopal Church 3874 East Lake Rd. Geneva, NY 144546. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Jean was born on Feb. 19, 1943 in Batavia, NY and was a daughter of the late Albert and Marian (Peterson) Butler. She owned and operated the 'Paradise on the Lake' bed and breakfast in Geneva for many years. Jean was a dedicated and active member of the Grace Episcopal Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, making doll clothes, and playing cards with her friends.
She is survived by her children; Julie (Frank) Roccograndi of Pennsylvania, Donald (Becky) Vickers of Kansas, David Vickers of Geneva, Sean Vickers of Geneva and Kevin (Annette) Vickers of North Java, NY; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
