PENN YAN- Mary F. Mulvaney, 77, passed away peacefully on Wed. (Aug. 27, 2014), at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Penn Yan. In honoring her wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Mary was born on Oct. 27, 1936, in Geneva, and was a daughter of the late Antonio and Elsie (Seamans) Codispoti. She enjoyed playing bingo and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Penn Yan.
She is survived by her husband, John Mulvaney of Penn Yan; children, Linda (Joe Barilla) Contreras of Geneva, Richard Contreras of Fla., Anthony (Belinda Fratto) Contreras of Waterloo and Debbie (Kevin Austin) Gage of Geneva; sisters, Catherine (Dan) Boyd of Waterloo and Theresa Weber of Penn Yan; grandchildren, Mark Contreras, Anthony Contreras, Michael Contreras, Tiana Contreras, Stella Contreras, Isabella Austin, Zachary Caroll, Angela Caroll, Melissa Caroll and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her brother, Freddie Codispoti and sisters, Amelia Codispoti and Barbara Riccon.
