GENEVA- Samuel A. Pane, 74, passed away on Mon. (March 23, 2015), at the Huntington Living Center in Waterloo. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wed. (March 25), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thurs. (March 26), at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Samuel was born on Dec. 17, 1940 in Geneva and was a son of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Trunzo) Pane. He was a dedicated, hard worker who worked for over 20 years as the head custodian for the Geneva School District. Samuel raised his two boys, Michael and Stephen, providing them with a comfortable home. He was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva, and the Geneva Police Auxiliary during the 1960's. Samuel enjoyed cooking, gardening and mowing his lawn. Above all, he loved the company of his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his sons, Michael (Christine Corrado) Pane of Wayne, NJ and Stephen (Michele) Pane of Clifton Springs; brother, Dominick Pane of Brooklyn; sisters, Joanne Dorgan of Canandaigua, Rose Baumgartner of Naples, FL, Virginia Barresi of Madison, WI and Sandra Pane of Matawan, NJ; grandchildren, David, Libby and Samantha Pane; several nieces and nephews. Samuel was predeceased by his brothers, Anthony and Frank Pane; sisters, Mary Hopkins and Elizabeth Edsall.
