Michael T. Kitcho, Sr.
GENEVA - Michael T. Kitcho, 84, passed away Fri. (Oct. 7, 2011), at Geneva General Hospital. There will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Contributions may be directed to the De Sales High School Memorial Fund, 90 Pulteney St. Geneva, NY 14456.
Michael was born June 5, 1927, in Winburne, PA., the son of the late Michael and Anita Reo Kitcho. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp, serving in World War II. He was a member of St. Francis De Sales Church in Geneva. Mike was a salesman at Montgomery Ward, John Church and Kenny Carpet until his retirement. He was an avid NY Yankee, Syracuse University, and Buffalo Bills fan. He was an avid golfer and his favorite TV channel was the Golf Channel. Michael was a member of the American Legion and the Sons of Italy both of Geneva. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mildred Chester Kitcho of Geneva; son, Michael Kitcho, Jr. of Geneva; daughter, Michele (Greg) McNeely of Geneva; grandson, Jeffrey (Lynn) Mattoon of Joshua Tree, CA, and leaves behind several loving nieces and nephews.
Michael was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia DeYulyo in May 2002.
