Obituary of Evelyn T. Halladay

Evelyn 'Neb' Teall Halladay WATERLOO - Evelyn 'Neb' Teall Halladay, 98, passed away peacefully on Mon. (Oct. 10, 2011), with her loving family by her side at Clifton Springs Hospital. Friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sat. (Oct. 15) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A memorial service will follow calling hours at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo. Contributions in Evelyn's name may be directed to the Waterloo Fire Dept., 39 E. Water St. Waterloo, NY 13165, or the charity of one's choice. Evelyn was born on Dec. 30, 1912 in S. Hadley, MA, and was a daughter of the late Oliver E. and Ruby (LeClair) Teall. She was a homemaker who provided her family with a comfortable home. Evelyn was active in Girl Scouts and was a member of the Home Bureau and Rebecca Lodge. She enjoyed arts and crafts and loved her family very much. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn (John) Pratt of Long Island, NY, Sheila (Ron) Favreau of Caledonia, NY, Elaine (Richard) Catanise of Ovid, NY and Bonnie (Dan) McNulty of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; daughter-in-law, Marcella Halladay of Mt. Dora, FL; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 4 great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Edwin T. Halladay; son, Edwin T. Halladay, Jr. and sisters, Lutie M. Teall, Anna V. Edds and Ruth H. Crutchley.
