Obituary of Willard K. Williams

Willard K. Williams, Jr. WATERLOO - Willard K. Williams, Jr., 58, passed away at home on Sun. (Nov. 6, 2011), after a long courageous battle with cancer. In honoring his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Willard was born on Jan. 5, 1953 in Rochester and was a son of the late Willard K., Sr. and Euellen (Mele) Williams. He lived in Rochester until he was nine years old and moved to Rome, NY in 1962. In 1989, Willard moved to Waterloo, NY. He married Rose M. Healy on Sept. 5, 1993. Willard was a retired member of the Aero-Space Union and the Teamsters Union of Rochester. After retirement, he was employed by Barr Transportation. Willard served his country in the 82nd Airborne. He enjoyed skydiving and jumped with the Legg-Naff jump squad out of Rome, NY and loved spending time in the mountains. He is survived by his loving wife, Rose. M. (Healy) Williams of Waterloo; children, Eric (Myra) Williams of Virginia, Kaedee S. Williams of Waterloo and Sarah (Brian Davis) Williams of Virginia; step-children, Amber (Aaron Meeks) Wiebeld of Palmyra and Krystal (Dusty) Smith of Waterloo; sisters, Sheila Williams of Rome, NY and Sandy Rizzo of FL; sister-in-law, Diane Williams of Montana; grandchildren, Michael MacIntire, Ayla Davis and Asia Williams; step-grandchildren, Libby, Hannah and Matthew Smith, Emma, Laura and Ethan Meeks and several nieces and nephews. Willard was predeceased by his brother Roger Williams.
