Domenic DeFelice, PhD
GENEVA - Domenic DeFelice, PhD, 97, passed away peacefully Wed. (Nov. 23, 2011), at the Seneca Nursing Home. In honoring his request, there will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be announced at a later date.
Contributions in Domenic's name may be directed to West Lake Road Fire Department, Geneva YMCA, Kashong Recreation Association, or Geneva Library.
Domenic was born Oct., 3, 1914, in Boston, MA, and was a son of the late Michele and Vincenza (Duranti) DeFelice. He retired as Vice President of Squibb-Beech-Nut. Domenic was a long time resident of Geneva, active in the West Lake Road Fire Department, Geneva YMCA, Kashong Recreation Association and Geneva Library, and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Domenic was proud to be a Yankee and Red Sox fan.
Domenic is survived by his children; Michele (Kathy) DeFelice of Port Ewen, NY, Dr. Ralph (Cynthia) DeFelice of Geneva, Elfredia (Edwin) Frick of Geneva, Grandchildren; Michelle (Jon) Haverly, Tony (Tasha) DeFelice, Ralph (Zoe) Covert DeFelice , Dr, Michele (Ron) DeFelice Hucke, E. Peter (Shelby) Frick and Katie E. (Gerry) Araque, 10 Great Grandchildren, Step Children; Patrick Ryan of Geneva, Michael Ryan of Geneva and Dr. Timothy Ryan of Seneca Falls.
Domenic was predeceased by his wives, Elfredia Covert DeFelice and Barbara Ryan DeFelice.
