Bobby Holmes, Sr.
GENEVA - Bobby Holmes, Sr., 49, passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Thurs. (Dec. 22, 2011), at Geneva General Hospital. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tues. (Dec. 27), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wed. (Dec. 28), at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church 70 Clark St. Geneva. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
Bobby was born on Aug. 15, 1962 in Newark, NY and was a son of the late Sam and Bertha (Jackson) Holmes. He was a devoted husband and father who loved and enjoyed the company of his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, JoAnn (Reese) Holmes of Geneva; son, Shakeem Holmes of Geneva; daughters, Ursula Robinson and Desiree Holmes, both of Geneva; brothers, Sherlock (Hartwell) Holmes of Atlanta, GA, Edward Brown of Paughkeepsie, NY and Tony Holmes of Rochester; sisters, Sharon Jean Bostick of Sanford, FL, Deborah Holmes of Miss., Carolyn (Rev. Ozie) Johnson of Newark and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was predeceased by his son, Bobby Holmes, Jr. in 2010.
