Obituary of Cecilia C. Broderick

Cecilia C. Broderick GENEVA, - Cecilia C. Broderick, 79, passed away Mon. (April 2, 2012), at the Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo. In honoring Cecilia's request, there will be no prior calling hours or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Cecilia was born on May 26, 1932, in Geneva, and was a daughter of the late Guillo and Teresa Liberatore. Cecilia lived in Pasadena, California and Las Vegas, Nevada before moving back to Geneva. She was a member of St. Francis De Sales Church. Cecilia enjoyed shopping, reading and going to lunch with her sisters. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, and will be remembered dearly as an outgoing, friendly and cheerful woman. She is survived by her three sons; Robert Broderick, Richard Broderick and Thomas Broderick, all of California; daughter, Linda Broderick of California; brother, Carmen Liberatore of Geneva; sisters, Mary (Joseph) Carnovale of Geneva, Lucy (Gene) Taras of Geneva and Fran Pedersen of Waterloo; several nieces, nephews; great nieces, great nephews, and special friend, Sam from Las Vegas. In addition to her parents, Cecilia was predeceased by her husband, Richard Broderick.
