Josephine (Jo) Flynn Bovenza
GENEVA/CANANDAIGUA- Josephine (Jo) Bovenza passed away at the age of 97 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester on September 9, 2015 following an automobile accident which occurred on August 20, 2015.
Surviving are her son, William (Patricia) Bovenza of Rochester Hills, Michigan;
Granddaughter, Leslie Bovenza and Great-Grandson, Max Black of Grand Island
New York: sisters: Mary Flynn Placito of Canandaigua, Viola Flynn Venuti and Dorothy Flynn Liberatore of Geneva; many loving nieces and nephews and special friends, Suzanne and David Poteet. She was pre-deceased by her husband Alfonso and daughter Donna.
The family wishes to thank the staff in the Palliative Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital for the professional and sensitive care they provided to Jo and her family.
A private Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice or a charity of your choice.
