Steinmetz, Sharon "Sherry"
PENFIELD- Sharon "Sherry" Steinmetz passed away peace fully on Fri. (Nov. 27, 2015), after a heroic bat tle with kidney disease that she fought with grace and laughter. A prayer service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tues. (Dec. 1, 2015), at Oakwood Cemetery Mausoleum (Baird/Wha len Rds., Penfield, NY).
Donations can be made to American Kidney.
Sherry is survived by her husband, John; mother, Marge (Fred) Smallen burg; sister-in-law, Sue Steinmetz; brothers-in-law, Tom (Terry) Stein metz and Jamie (Pam) Steinmetz; several nieces, nephews and long time friend, Eileen Hetzel.
She was predeceased by her sister, Terry.
Sharon's family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Strong Memorial Hospital for their loving and compassionate care especially Drs. Matthew Gross and Adam Doyle.
