Alvina "Pat" S. Mariano
WATERLOO- Alvina "Pat" S. Mariano, 69, passed away peacefully on Tues. (March 8, 2016), at Rochester General Hospital, with her loving family by her side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Mon. (March 21), at St. Mary's Church in Waterloo. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Pat was born on July 18, 1946, in Blairsville, GA and was a daughter of the late Arlene Maker King. She graduated from Waterloo High School in 1964. Pat was employed by Guaranteed Parts in Seneca Falls, Gould's Pumps in Seneca Falls, Barrett Marine in Waterloo, Ace Hardware in Seneca Falls, B.J.'s Wholesale Club in Geneva and most recently at the Hobart and William Smith Colleges Bookstore in Geneva. Pat's Catholic faith was extremely important to her. She was a devoted communicant of St. Francis-St. Clair Parish. She was the first female usher at St. Mary's Church, was a member of the Catholic Daughters Court Theresa 806 and a member of the Rosary Makers of St. Mary's. Pat also served on the Seneca County Board of Elections. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, crocheting and will always be remembered as a great cook. Pat was the proud bell ringer at the Hobart hockey games.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, James G. Mariano of Waterloo; son, Christopher (Jennifer) Brown of Jacksonville, Fla; brothers, Phauls (Celia) King of Waterloo, Steven King of TX, Martin King of Fla. And Kevin (Jackie) King of Fla.; sister, Wanda (William) DeLamarter of Waterloo, Kristi (Randy) Calabrese of Seneca Falls; grandson, Cooper Brown; very special Godchild, Brianna Dailey; several nieces and nephews.
Pat was predeceased by her mother, Arlene Maker King; sisters, Karen Susanne King and Sandra Marches.
