Obituary of Moses Moore

Moses Moore, Sr. GENEVA- Moses Moore, Sr., 60, passed into the Arms of his Lord and Savior on Sun. (July 10, 2016), at Geneva General Hospital. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wed. (July 20), at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 70 Clark St. Geneva. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Moses was born on Feb. 13, 1956 in Savannah, GA and was a son of the late Albert, Sr. and Mattie Lee (Williams) Moore. He was a very loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Moses enjoyed football, fishing and traveling to Turning Stone Casino. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela (Green) Moore of Geneva; children, Moses Moore, Jr. of Geneva, Mary Green of Rochester, David Lee (Sandra) Moore of Geneva, Angnem A. (Melissa) Green of Geneva, Cindy Green of Geneva and Tremaine A. Green of Geneva; brothers, Napoleon (Faire) Moore of Belle Glade, FL, Phenzie (Betty) Moore of West Palm Beach, FL, Albert (Louise) Moore, Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL, and Carl (Luzille) Moore, Sr. of Geneva; sister, Nancy Brown of West Palm Beach, FL; sisters-in-law, Lizzie Moore of Belle Glade, FL and Gertrude Moore of GA; brother-in-law, Derrick Walker of Belle Glade, FL; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Moses was predeceased by his brothers, Billy Joe Moore and Theo Moore, Sr.; sister, Shirley Walker.
