Obituary of Steven Paul French

Steven Paul French GENEVA-Steven Paul French, 40, passed away Fri. (Jan. 13, 2017) at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY with his family at his side. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Tues. (Jan 17), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva, NY 14456. A prayer service will be held following calling hours at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Steven was born on Nov. 1, 1976 in Geneva and was the son of Susan (Stewart) Powers and Maurice French Jr. He graduated from Geneva High School in 1998 and went on to work at Ontario County ARC. Steven loved wrestling, the Yankees, Syracuse basketball, the 49ers, video games, bowling, country music and vacationing with his family in Florida. His family was very important to him. Steven will be so missed by all his family and friends. Steven is survived by his mother and step father Susan (Stewart) Powers; father Maurice French Jr.; siblings Maurice (Lena) French III, Joseph French, Michelle (Scott) White-Shoots and Kylie (Chris) Scott; special aunt Mary (Kenny) Piergrosso-LaDuew; nieces and nephews Damian (Bernie) Davis, Alan White Jr., Kristen Tetreault, Ashley French, Anthony French, Tiffany French, Racheal Scott, Isaiah Moriarity, Emilee Scott and Kloi White-Shoots; special great nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law Dorlene French. Steven is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Mary and Joseph Piergrosso; paternal grandparents Betty and Maurice French Sr.; uncles Butch Davis and Fred French; brother-in-law Alan White.
