My memories of Mr. Calabrese will live on forever in my heart. As a young child, "Coolidge" & his lovely wife and their son Ronnie were good friends, my family grew to know at Sunset Bowling Alley. Somehow I ended up with the nickname of "Susie" & every time I would see him at Big Oak Golf Course...I still was always "Susie!"
A true gentleman...I'll miss your smile! My condolences to his family.

I met Vince, aka Coolidge, through the Sons of Italy some years ago. He always was in good spirits and had a friendly way about him. You could just tell that he was one of those guys who was probably well liked by all who knew him. We played bocce in the Sons summer league and he was still a helluva player right up into his nineties. Rest in peace Coolidge.

Vincent was a wonderful man and always said " Hey Laurie " When he saw me.. I loved his stories of Torrey Park and especially how he got the name Coolidge.... last month he was telling me how his back ached so and he hated to get out of bed in the morning.. Being a large woman, I kidded with him and told him I would walk on his back.. He laughed and said " It'll either kill me or cure me ." My husband and I will miss him at Big Oak.. May he RIP.. He was loved by so many.... A real sweetheart...
