Harry Paul Morse GENEVA-Harry Paul Morse, 98, passed away peacefully on Mon. (March 4, 2013). Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Sat. (March 9), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the Palmyra Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Kurt Simmon's Foundation, 17 Sunset Drive, Lyons, NY 14489, or a charity of your choice in Harry's memory. Harry was born in Cleveland, OH on June 23, 1914, the son of the late Paul G. and Lauretta (Carroll) Morse and later moved to Auburn, NY. He worked as a manager, employed by Noah's Ark Auto Accessories for 50 + yrs. Harry's motto was "dollar a week" layaway plan. Later, Harry became the owner of Demming's Hardware Store in Geneva. He was a long time member of the Geneva Presbyterian Church, Sons of American Legion Post 396, Geneva Lions Club and the Geneva Country Club. Harry enjoyed flying and was an instructor at the Scenic Airport in Geneva, after WWII. He was one of the founders of the Sun and Fun event in Lakeland, FL. Harry is survived by his wife of 34 yrs. Constance Clark Morse; step daughters Kathryn (Ian) Barclay of Marion, NY, Gayle Gunter of El Paso, TX and Margaret (Scott) Simmons of Lyons, NY; brother John (Phyllis) Morse of St. Petersburg, FL; 6 step grandchildren; 9 step great grandchildren; a family friend Valerie McEntee of New Jersey; several nieces and nephews. Harry is predeceased by his brother Russell Morse and step grandson Kurt Simmons.
