Obituary of Kathleen A. Curry

Kathleen "Katy" A. (Bruno) Curry WATERLOO- Kathleen "Katy" A. (Bruno) Curry, 66, passed away on Thurs. (Nov. 23, 2017), at Geneva General Hospital. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tues. (Nov. 28), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Wed. (Nov. 29) in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Katy was born on April 29, 1951 in Geneva and was a daughter of the late John and Consetta (Morelli) Bruno. She enjoyed cooking wither her sister, Ducky at her nephews, Ralph and Dominic's restaurants: Papa Ralph's Restaurant in Waterloo, Bruno's Restaurant in Canandaigua and Taste of Italy in Victor. Katy loved to watch her husband Steve's Band, "The Four C's" and take care of her grandchildren. To her, family was everything. She is survived by her husband, Stephen F. Curry of Waterloo; daughter, Lori (Philip) Hemminger of Black River, NY; son, Stephen F. ( Heather Bassett) Curry II of Middlesex; siblings, Louis (Marilyn) Bruno of Geneva, Teresa (John) Zugec of Geneva and John J. (Linda) Bruno of Chambersburg, PA; brothers-in-law, Ralph Calabrese of Canandaigua, Frederick Curry of Seneca Falls and Martin (Carol) Curry of Central Square; grandchildren, Julian Curry, Stephen F. Curry III, Philip Hemminger II, Andrew (Nicole) Hemminger and Sara Hemminger; great twin granddaughters, Addyson and Avalyn; several nieces and nephews. Katy was predeceased by her daughter, Maria Curry in 2016; sisters, Ursula (Anthony) Manino and Carmella "Ducky" Calabrese; niece, Marie Nelson; nephew, Ralph Calabrese; brother-in-law, Michael Curry.
