Mary D. "Marilou" Smith
GENEVA- Mary D. "Marilou" Smith, 84, passed away peacefully on Mon. (March 5, 2018), in Geneva General Hospital. In honoring her wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Mary was born on Feb. 15, 1934 in Geneva and was a daughter of the late Philip and Lucy (Perry) D'Amico. She was a De Sales High School Graduate and former member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy Lodge 2397, the American Legion Auxiliary Post 396 and served as past president of the VFW Auxiliary Post 2670.
She is survived by her husband, Charles F. Smith, Sr. of Geneva; children, Sally (Alan) Myers of Williamsburg, VA and Charles F. (Patti Manino) Smith, Jr. of Geneva; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her children Chet Smith and Kelly Valentino; siblings Frances Linehan, Donald D'Amico and Palma Dellefave.
