WATERLOO- Joshua Christopher Wichtman, 36, passed away on Thurs. (May 3, 2018), at home. Family and friends may attend a graveside service at 11 a.m. Fri. (May 11), in Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Romulus, with full military honors.
Contributions may be directed to Waterloo American Legion 7 E Williams St, Waterloo, NY 13165 in Joshua's memory.
Joshua was born on Feb. 13, 1982, in Joplin, MO and was a son of Leslie Dane Mead and Mark Wichtman. He graduated in 2000 from Romulus Central School. Joshua served his country honorably in the United States Army from 2005 to 2012. He then graduated Sept. 20, 2013 from WYO Tech, majoring in Diesel Technology & Management. Joshua was a mechanic specializing in heavy equipment. He enjoyed art, drawing and painting. Some of Joshua's work is displayed at local businesses.
He is survived by his parents Leslie (Richard) Mead and Mark (Dawn) Wichtman; brothers, Robert, Craig (Kate) and Brett (Meg) Wichtman; step sister, Holly (Jeremy) Wichtman; and many friends.
