Obituary of Donald Brinkman

Donald B. Brinkman WATERLOO- Donald B. Brinkman, 76, of Waterloo, died Tuesday (June 11, 2013), at Serenity House, in Victor with his family at his side. Friends and family may call from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday (June 14), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, LLC, 28 Genesee St., Geneva. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday (June 15), at the Butler Center Church in Butler Center, NY. Burial will follow in the Rose Cemetery, Rose, NY, with full Military rites. A Luncheon will follow the burial at the North Rose United Methodist Church, 11 School Road, North Rose, NY. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Serenity House 1278 Brace Road, Victor, NY 14564. Donald was born in Syracuse, NY on September 5, 1936, and was a son of the late Clair and Helen Cattiue Brinkman. Don was employed as operator engineer for local Union 545, retiring after 52 years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and the US Army National Guard. Donald was an avid bowler and a member of the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his children, Jerald (Lori) Brinkman, Cynthia (Rory) Costello, Greg (Tami) Brinkman, and Kimberly (Patrick) McAndrews; sisters, Barbara Showers, Anne M. Lasher and Virginia Whelan; grandchildren, Amanda, Emily, Cody, Kaleb, Kathryn, Zachary, Bryce, Jeffrey, Riley and Aidyn; and several nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years, Marlene Marie Brinkman; son, Jeffery Brinkman; brothers, William and Robert Brinkman.
