WATERLOO- Richard Lynn "Chief" Hennigan, 52, passed away on Tues. (Aug. 31, 2021), at home. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thurs. (Sept. 9), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo.
Richard was born on Nov. 23, 1968, in Waterloo and was a son of the late Arthur and Julia (Anderson) Hennigan. He enjoyed mowing and trimming his lawn, hunting and fishing with his son, Kevin.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya Lynn (Chilson) Hennigan of Waterloo; son, Kevin (Mary Dahl) Hennigan of Seneca Falls; brothers, James (Sue) Hennigan of Port Byron, David (Elizabeth) Hennigan of Fayette and Arthur Hennigan of Montezuma; grandchildren, Mason and Olivia Hennigan; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother, Michael Hennigan.
