Obituary of Beverly S. Ventura

Beverly "Grandma B" S. Ventura GENEVA- Beverly "Grandma B" S. Ventura, 89, passed away peacefully on Wed. (Nov. 17, 2021), at Strong Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family, in St. Mary's Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held from 12:00-2:00pm, Monday November 29th, at the Seneca Town Park Pavilion, 3675 Flint Rd, Stanley, NY. Beverly was born on July 9, 1932, in Marion, NY and was a daughter of the late John and Cynthia (VanGee) Steurrys. She was a dedicated house wife, who provided her family with a comfortable home. Beverly enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting, snowmobiling and crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her family, especially, her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Fred L. Ventura of Geneva; son, John F. (DeAnna) Ventura of Ontario, NY; brother, Nelson (Anna) Steurrys of Marion, NY; sister, Carol Brignall of Newark, NY; son-in-law, Paul Krug of Farmington, NY; grandchildren, Jessica Jones, Kelly (Alex) Sitton, Christopher Ventura, Victoria Ventura and Nicholas Ventura; adopted granddaughter, Michelle "Peanut" Post; several nieces and nephews. Beverly was predeceased by her daughter, Teresa Krug.
