Obituary of Patricia J. Chester

GENEVA- Patricia "Patty" Chester, 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 2. A Memorial mass will be held Monday, December 20 at 2:00 pm at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church, 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or St. Jude's. Patty was born November 28, 1948 in Geneva, N.Y., daughter of the late Sullivan and Caroline "Carrie" Greco. She was happily married to her husband of 54 years, Ralph Chester. She and Ralph were also former residents of Estero Fla. for many years. Patty enjoyed working for many years for car dealerships in both NY and Florida as well as her early years working at Stanley's in Geneva. Patty was always dressed to impress, she had a beautiful smile, kind heart, always had fresh flowers and most of all enjoyed being around her granddaughters and nieces and nephews. Patty and Ralph also spent many years enjoying car shows. Patty is survived by her husband, Ralph Chester; sons, Christopher (Diane) and R. Brian Chester; sisters, Sandra (Wayne) Klue, Sally Jo (Don) Helstrom, and Roberta (Joe) Hessney; granddaughters, Allyson & Courtney Chester, and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. She was predeceased by her sister, R. Linda Greco. The family would like to thank the devoted care givers at the Geneva Living Center and her lifelong friend Carol Rinaldo.
