Obituary of Nancy Osborne

Nancy Jean Taney-Osborne December 4th, 1955 – January 25th, 2022 Nancy passed away surrounded by her loving husband and three daughters at Strong Memorial Hospital after a long battle with LAM Tuesday, January 25,2022. Friends may call Thursday (Feb. 3) from 4 to 7 pm at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. Her Funeral Mass will be Friday (Feb. 4) at 11 am in St. Mary's Church, 23 Center Street, Waterloo. Nancy was born on December 4th, 1955 in Geneva, NY, the Daughter of the late Thelma M (Arnold) Taney and Alfred C. Taney. She was a 1974 graduate of Waterloo High School and received her RN from the Genesee Hospital School of Nursing. Nancy worked for many years at Taylor Brown Memorial Hospital, Finger Lakes Health and Seneca County Sheriff's Office. In her retirement, Nancy enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren that she frequently described as the light of her life. She enjoyed spending time going on trips to the beach, craft shows, the grandchildren's events and just time at home surrounded by the beautiful life she built. In addition to her family, she was a fiercely loyal friend and the love for her girlfriends was true through the very end. Nancy is survived by her husband Burl Osborne, her children Alicia Osborne, Kathryne Jones, Denise (Jeremy) Osborne-Denisi;, Grandchildren Riley, Karson and Kennedy Osborne ,Natalie and Matthew Jones, Freyja and Shooter Denisi, Siblings , Alfred Taney of Boston,Mass, Anna Taney of Waterloo; Nieces Abigail and Alexandra Taney, DeAnna Thurston. as well as many lifelong friends.
