Obituary of Charles Lee Williams

GENEVA- Charles Lee Williams, 78, passed away peacefully on Sun. (Feb. 27, 2022), at Geneva General Hospital, with his family by his side. Friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Mon. (March 7), at Faith Community Church, 90 Lewis St. Geneva. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., in the church. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Charles was born on July 20, 1943, in Sanford, Fla., and was the son of the late Issac and Eunice (Edwards) Williams. He was a graduate of Cooms High School in Sanford, Fla. Charles worked as a plumber for all of his life. He was an avid golfer, bowler and loved fishing and playing cards with “Charlie’s Angels”. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Williams; daughters, Crystal Williams, Denise Williams, Sandra Williams, Dessie Williams, Selena (Willie) McKoy, Stacey Reid, Erin (Shawn) Porter and Erica (William) Spann; sons, Reggie Williams, Little Charles Williams, Demond Williams and Jarette Porter; brother, Willie Williams; sisters, Leola Williams and Mildred Boles; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of close friends. Charles was predeceased by his son, Adrian Porter; granddaughter, Traminique Porter, a grandson, Calvin Latimer, two sisters and three brothers.
