I don't think I ever met Mr. Roach at AWA. We just never ran into each other. I say Mr. Roach because that is how I knew him. He was the teacher in the Radio Club at Carlton Webster Junior High School and how I got interested in ham radio at 13 years old (55 years ago). I never forgot Mr. Roach. I wish I could have met him at AWA, it would have been a real treat to share memories and to have thanked him for introducing me to my lifelong hobby. 73 Mr. Roach.
