Obituary of David L. Passalacqua

GENEVA- David L. Passalacqua, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Tues. (Nov. 22, 2022), peacefully, in his own home. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Mon. (Nov. 28), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m., in the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Dave was born on June 16, 1954, in Geneva and was a son of the late Armand and Madeline (Marchenese) Passalacqua. He owned and operated "Dave's Service Center" for many years. Dave was a hardworking, selfless and trustworthy mechanic, who enjoyed helping his customers. He loved talking to his friends, lending his hands to assist anyone who needed help and spending time with family. Dave was a member of the Sons of Italy. He is survived by his children, Joshua (Jason) Passalacqua of Geneva, Shannon Passalacqua of Phelps, Eric Passalacqua of Phelps and David J. Passalacqua of Phelps; brother, Ron (Lorraine) Passalacqua of Geneva; grandchildren, Brandon (Ashley Taylor) Passalacqua, Sophia Passalacqua and Amalia Passalacqua; longtime friend and mother of his children, Joan Tandle of Geneva; many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. In addition to his parents, Dave was predeceased by his sister, Nancy (Daniel) Passalacqua Fling; Granddaughter, Brittany Passalacqua and several aunts and uncles.
