I have known Shirley all of my life. I remember when I was a little girl Shirley would keep an eye on me whenever I was outside playing. She would always stop me from being to close to the road, yell at me for throwing rocks or for doing things that I had no business doing. I remember that Carmen and Shirley would be waiting for me during the most important moments of my life such as prom, graduation and bringing home my son when he was born. I remember one summer day Shirley came knocking on the door with my 1 year old son holding her hand. He was also naked. He had snuck outside and Shirley seen him. She laughed saying that he was going to get arrested for indecent exposure.
Shirley will be sadly missed. Gone but never forgotten. My deepest condolences!
