I regret that I will be unable to make it to the wake or funeral due to work committments and distance. I would love to have shared memories of the beautiful person, my aunt Liz (sister of my mother, the late Helen Mosier Whiting).
My earliest childhood memories are of her bustling energy and desire to please her customers at the meat market. There was always a huge sandwich awaiting my siblings and me. My mother always felt that Liz had a heart of gold and would give you the "shirt off her back". I loved the Syrian Easter celebrations at the Moses/Mosier homestead in Geneva. Her food was always so good!
The Mosier family was a great group of people and I will carry fond memories of Liz and her siblings and my grandparents for the rest of my life...Geneva and the lake, Chanticleer, family gatherings and food, the farm, baseball at Shuron Park, and just plain good hard-working people.
